In the heart of the Lowveld, a a few kilometres outside the Kruger Nationl Park and close to scenic wonders like God's Window and Blyde River Canyon, Hazyview is perfectly positioned for exploring this enchanting region.

This village was originally promulgated in 1959 when the first post office was established and Hazyview station came into being when the old Selati Railway line was diverted outside the western border of the Kruger National Park to Kaapmuiden in the late 1960s

The town is strategically placed midway between spectacular scenery of the escarpment and the wild life experience of the Kruger National Park.

With luxury hotels, upmarket guest lodges and resorts Hazyview is well set to cater the need of anybody who visits.

Within the vast Lowveld landscape lies the crown jewel of Africa, the Kruger National Park. This world-renowned park is home to an unsurpassed variety of African wildlife.

The scenic Panorama Route of the awesome Drakensberg escarpment, is an enchanting and relaxed circular drive from Hazyview:
* Blyde River Canyon - the third-largest canyon in the world, and the largest green canyon on earth
* God's Window
* Three Rondawels
* Bourke's Luck Potholes
* The Pinnacle
* Sabie Forestry Museum
* The living museum town of Pilgrim's Rest
* Bridal Veil, Horseshoe, Berlin, Lone Creek, Mac Mac and Lisbon Falls

Other attractions in the area include World-class Golf Courses, Cultural Villages, Echo and Sudwala Caves and The Lowveld Botanical Gardens

The town of Hazyview offers a variety of adventure activities such as White-water Rafting, Quad Biking , Hot Air Balloon Rides and Guided Hiking Trails and Bush Walks.



How to get there
Follow the N4 from Johannesburg or Mozambique until Nelspruit. From there drive north on the R40 towards Witrivier and Hazyview
