How to get there:
See Map From Johannesburg / Pretoria:
Take the N1 North to olokwane/Pietersburg. Keep on the left at the Kranskop toll gate (third toll gate) and turn off to Nylstroom Follow R33 through Nylstroom to Vaalwater (± 60km). After Vaalwater, turn right in front of petrol station and keep following R33 to Ellisras About 45 Kms further, turn right into the second sand road, heading to Beauty About 30 Kms further, turn right again into the sand road, heading to Visgat Mama Tau is located about 5 Kms further on your right side.
From Pietersburg :
Take the N1 South to Pretoria/Johannesburg. Join N11 through Potgietersrus and head North to Botswana. At Mahwelereng turn letf and follow R518 through Sterkwater & Mokamole to Marken. In Marken turn left and keep following R518 to Ellisras. About 15 Km after Villa Nora turn left into Visgat sand road. About 15 Kms further, turn left again into the second sand road, heading to Visgat Mama Tau is located about 5 Kms further on your right side.
From Botswana / Tom Burke:
From Tom Burke, turn right and follow R572 through Beauty and Monte Christo. At the T junction, turn left to Lephalale/Ellisras. 4 Kms before Ellisras, turn right and follow R518 to Villa Nora and Marken. About 10 Kms further, turn right into the second sand road to Visgat. Pass through the crossroads and keep following the Visgat sand road. Mama Tau is located about 5 Kms further on your right side.
