There is a farm in the heart of the Klein Karoo … where time stands still … where vast plains and majestic mountains meet the blue sky … where the suns sets in a explosion of colour … and where the nights skies sparkle with dazzling stars.
Hanlie and Viljee Keller invite you to enjoy the warm hospitality of their luxury four-star cape-dutch style guest house on their private ostrich farm in the hills just outside Oudtshoorn.
At Mooiplaas Guest House you are surrounded by perfect comfort and tranquillity and can relax, unwind and revive while the friendly staff takes care of all the details.
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided in 13 stylish and tastefully decorated suites that have air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, separate entrances, honesty bar, coffee/tea making facilities, and parking.
SUITES:
All rooms have their own entrances. The suites are spacious and luxurious. Each has a lounge area, bedroom and huge modern bathroom. And from your suite's patio or balcony, you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the Swartberg Mountains and Oudtshoorn.
FAMILY SUITES:
We have 4 family suites, each sleeps 4 people. Three family suites have a king bed, full bathroom (bath and shower) and a lounge area. One family suite has a queen bed, shower bathroom and two single beds in the lounge area.
If the family consists of more than 2 children, we can connect another family suite through inter-leading doors to give extra accommodation and space.
All family suites are on ground level with a separate entrance and have spectacular views of the gardens and Swartberg Mountains. You can even see the town of Oudtshoorn from the front porch.
Baby sitting services are available at a nominal cost and we will gladly arrange early dining hours for children.
Facilities
Guest facilities include a swimming pool, private tour of the ostrich farm, hiking/walking and jogging, mountain biking, and free wi-fi internet access.
Children are welcome. Included in rate is our hearty traditional farmhouse breakfast. Dinner braai, light meals and picnics are provided, by prior arrangement.
Activities
Activities available are hiking/walking, jogging, mountain bikes, bird watching,golf, swimming pool, TV and tours of our own private ostrich farm.
