Medike Mountain Reserve

We stayed for 2 nights in Masianoke Cottage and had a wonderful time. The cabin is in a beautiful setting, with a wonderful view of the mountains. The place could not have been more peaceful and serene. There are many walks and hikes to do during the day, a 4x4 trail, nearby San rock paintings to check out, and a pool at the main house that is perfect for cooling off. The cabin is rustic and without electricity, but lanterns are provided and there is a gas fridge & stove, in the end it only makes the place more charming. Plus, the owners are so friendly and helpful so anything you could want they'd happily help out. If you're looking to truly relax and get away from it all, this is an excellent choice.

We enjoyed our stay at Medike tremendously. The chalet was immaculate, everything you need was there. Peace and quiet, no disturbances. Scenery is beautiful, very pleasant indeed. Hannes and Marietjie were most kind and helpful.
