It was a wonderful night away from the usual crazy pace of Johannesburg! Peaceful and picturesque. The staff were all helpful and polite and the chalet clean and comfortable. The bath & shower were a little disappointing. Will go back and recommend to friends.

The grounds and garden is superb and well kept. I think that the rooms can do with an update, the bathroom is poor condition and was not very clean. The staff and food was wonderful.

We only stayed for a night, but it was awesome, and the service was brilliant. Just the reception staff on the phone where a bit slow on directions, but other that everything was beautiful.

The venue itself was very good, however in the cottages some basics are missing. There is a fridge with no ice trays. No glasses are provided and the fire place no wood. If this had been indicated on the booking form it would not have been a problem, but it isn't. I know the rooms are no smoking but at least provide ash trays on the verandah so that people that do smoke don't distribute butts around the cottage.
