Situated on the bank of the Mbyamiti River. Intimate and secluded Bush Camp. Access to this camp is restricted to visitors who have reserved accommodation in the camp, thus visitors are ensured of an opportunity to enjoy relaxed privacy.
The camp is situated within the typical fairly dense mixed combretum veld of the area (Sabie/ Crocodile Thorn Thickets). There is no shop, restaurant or petrol station, but is within easy reach of some of the larger camps.
The Big 5 is present, including Black Rhino, for which this area is well known. There is also the chance of seeing the elusive Cheetah, or a pack of Wild Dog.
Solar panels generate electricity for lights and fans only. Refrigerators do not have freezing compartments, but a communal freezer is available in the camp.
Each hut has its own barbecue facilities and open parking is available. The restaurants and shops at Lower Sabie and Berg-en-dal provide a wide range of commodities.
The nearest shop, which provides only basic necessities, is at Crocodile Bridge Restcamp.
Fuel is available at all three restcamps, but not at the bushcamp. Units are serviced and bedding, towels and soap are provided. Night drives are offered.
