Browns Manor is a family-owned oasis in the semi-desert area of Upington next to the mighty Orange-river.
Browns Manor is situated at the edge of Upington on the N14 and has a wonderful view on the lower Orange-river valley and the vineyards. The rooms are cosy and very private with separate entrances.
There are a number of very good restaurants within 5 minutes from Browns Manor or you can do your own braai at our braai-facilities at the pool. (Braai-packs, salad and rolls are available on request).

Browns Manor has 9 air-conditioned en-suite rooms, multi-channel tv, swimming pool, sundeck, stocked bar fridges in rooms (fully licensed), secure parking, wonderful breakfast, koi-ponds, water feature garden, and much more.
The rooms are of a high standard and are kept in a excellent condition with coffee/tea making facilities.
Each room has its own alarm system with a panic button for your safety and peace of mind.

Activities:
Browns Manor has a wonderful pool and sundeck so be sure to remember bikini or at least some of it.
The Upington 18-hole golf-course and squash courts are about 500 metres from Browns Manor so you can stay fit.
There is a wide variety of birdlife at and around Browns Manor and a piece of Kalahari just across the road for those of you who would like to take a walk with the owner. If you would like we can rent you a 4x4 vehicle and organize a nice outing or even a hunt in winter time.
How to get there:
Browns Manor is situated at the edge of Upington on the N14 from Olifantshoek and Johannesburg.
It is easy to find with big brown reflective tourism road signs next to the road and neon lights at the entrance. Upington has a national airport and guests can be transferred to and from the airport.
Clothing & Accessories:
Sunglasses are strongly recommended in this area, especially during summertime because of the harsh sunlight, and a hat if you want to spend time outside.
Health & Climate:
The summer temperature in Upington is high, healthy and dry, and the winter can be crisp and cold especially early mornings.
