How to get there:
See Map From Johannesburg or Pretoria take the N1 north.
Take the Bela-Bela / Warmbaths offramp (R516) and proceed to Warmbaths.
In town take the Thabazimbi road and proceed for 34km to the turn-off, which is clearly signposted, to Mabula.
Clothing & Accessories:
October to March: Summer Clothes. A warm jacket or jersey for the cooler mornings and evenings.
April to September: Winter clothes. A very warm insulated Jacket for the cold morning and nights. Hats, scarf and gloves are recommended.
Comfortable walking shoes track shoes or boots are useful for the bush walks.
Sandals are useful for walking around the lodge. Shorts and t-shirt needed all year round for the warm midday period.
Swimming costume, sun block, insect repellent, sun hat, sunglasses and lip balm are recommended.
