This area is the ideal base camp enabling you to visit nearby Addo Elephant Park, Shamwari Game Reserve, Tsitsikamma Canopy Tours, the Kouga Cultural Centre or experience the ultimate thrill of Bloukrans bungy jumping.

Beach Break*****
The 5-star Beach Break offers tranquility and privacy in three seperate villas set on the edge of the dunes overlooking Cape St Francis beach between Seal and Shark Point nature reserves.
With a total of 12 stylishly appointed en suite rooms, 6 of which are sea facing , self catering or bed and breakfast option is offered, thus making Beach Break ideal for a family or group of friends travelling together.
All villas have private and lock up parking facilities, own swimming pool, garden with access to the beach, Satellite TV, self catering facilities including microwave, double fridge and dishwasher.
Beach Break has 5 en suite bedrooms, 3 double with full bathroom and 2 twin with shower only.
Seagulls Song has 2 double rooms , sea facing with full bathroom and 2 twin rooms with shower only.
Wave Warrior has 2 double rooms , sea facing with full bathroom and 2 twin rooms with shower only.
The Club***
The 3-star graded The Club is situated around a communal, exclusive-use pool and offers one or two-roomed apartments, en-suite, with stylish decor with open plan living room and kitchen.
Apartments are self-catering and serviced daily and have private verandahs and satellite TV.
The Village****
Nestled in the dunes at Cape St Francis are traditional Cape Dutch style cottages. Two to five-bedroomed thatch cottages with all rooms en-suite.
Comfortable beach-cottage decor with fully-equipped kitchen, satellite TV and private garden. Self-catering and serviced daily.

* Bathing - one can spend many leisurely hours on the wide beaches stretching from Seal Point to Shark Point. Johnson’s pool provides a sheltered swimming.

* Cape St Francis nature reserve covers an area of about 120 hectares with a coastline of 3km. The nature reserve includes a sandy
beach, a rustic rocky point and beautiful sand dunes with a spectacular view over St Francis Bay.
Conference Centre
The Cape St. Francis Resort Conference Centre is set in a refreshing environment to revitalise delegates and engender corporate team spirit.
Can accommodate 40 delegates in U–shape , 80 delegates in Classroom and 120 delegates in Theatre style. TV and video, overhead projector, flipcharts, ready rail, PA System, Secretarial service, fax, telephone, internet and photocopying facilities available.
On site we have a tennis court, swimming pool, games room with darts, pool table and fully licensed bar. We also offer a diverse range of adventure activities, sea and canal cruises, golf, quad biking, laser clay pigeon shooting, archery, drumming to name but a few.
At Cape St. Francis Resort we are sensitive to the dietary requirements of our delegates and understand the importance of discussing the menu to ensure that the catering is to your specification.
Breakfast is usually a full English, while lunches are based on a selection of options. Our “braais“ are very popular but for those who want a more conventional meal, we have a variety of menus from which to choose.
How to get there See Map
If travelling by road take the N2, and exit at the Humansdorp turn off (89 kms west of Port Elizabeth), follow sinage to Cape St Francis & St Francis Bay which will lead you onto the R330.
Follow R330 until you reach the village of Cape St Francis.
At the first stop sign turn left, travel for 1.2 kms.
The Cape St Francis Resort is on your right.
If travelling by air Port Elizabeth is our closest airport. Hire a vehicle or arrange for us to collect you at a minimal rate.
If you are arriving by private plane the airstrip at St Francis Bay will be you arrival point. |
