Inhaca Island is a small island, lying just 37 km off the Mozambican capital of Maputo, on the periphery of a large estuarine bay.
The island features areas of unspoiled evergreen forest and bush land and large areas of its land and shores have been protected as natural reserve since 1976.
Located on the beach front, Pestana Inhaca Lodge is only 15 minutes by plane from Maputo. For the guests’ comfort the lodge has standard & family rooms, all with mosquito nets over the beds, bathroom with shower and ceiling fan.

This picturesque Lodge offers a total of 40 rooms situated amidst magnificent coconut palms and exotic gardens.
There are two types of room and all come equipped with:

Please note the hiring of snorkeling equipment, excursions to the various islands, watersports ( paddle canoe, water skiing, motorised canoe & wake snake) and boat charters are not included in the daily rate.
How to get there See Map
Inhaca Island is situated 15 minutes by plane from Maputo and there are daily flights – Maputo/Inhaca/Maputo. The transfer from the airport to the Lodge is done by the Lodge itself and is free of charge for its guests.
Boats are available daily as an alternative mode of transport; the crossing takes 1h00 to 1h30 minutes.
