Africa Guesthouse is situated 1 hour south of Johannesburg and Oliver Tambo International Airport, and an hour and a half away from Pretoria.

We are within a 10km radius of all amenities, including Pick and Pay Hypermarket, The Vaal Mall, Emerald Casino, and The Vaal River.
Whoever you are, no matter what your age, The Vaal has something for everyone, from boat cruises along the river, nature reserves, to the Aquadome Waterworld for the kids!

For the more adventurous type, there’s abseiling, paintball, quad biking, Gold Reef City Theme Park, and much more! Or if it’s a romantic getaway for two your looking for, why not try the wine route, bisto’s & restaurants, or a sunset cruise along the river

Green Room:
A lovely spacious, double bedroom with an on-suite bathroom that has both a bath and a shower. Has its own outside patio in spacious well kept gardens, close to swimming pool.

Bachelor's Room:
A small cosy room for 1 or 2 people, with own bathroom with both a shower and a bath. access to own courtyard garden, safe and secure.

Africa suite:
A large room, big enough for the whole family, with private barbeque area and patio. on-suite bathroom, sleeps 4 people comfortably.

Orange room:
Another large spacious bedroom, with on-suite kitchen and bathroom. own patio in a walled off garden.centrally situated, close to barbeque boma and swimming pool.

At home:
A lovely, homely flatlet, with living area, bathroom and bedroom. cosy enough for a couple or a family. room has both back and front patio area's, and a barbeque boma.

Apple Suite:
A cosy room, perfect for 2. with on-suite bathroom with shower. opens onto own patio area and open well kept gardens. close to the barbeque boma.

Peaches and Cream Suite:
A large, spacious bedroom to comfortably sleep 4.with on-suite bathroom that has both a bath and a shower. own small patio area to sit and relax in the gardens.

Honeymoon Suite:
Double bedroom ready for the happy couple. room has own on-suite bathroom and patio area. private entry through the gardens.

Group Room:
A very large open room, to accommodate 6-9 people for group bookings. with its own private courtyard garden to sit and relax, or have a barbeque.

Sports Suite:
Another large room, upstairs, to accommodate upto 7 people comfortably. great for teams or work groups. lovely views over the gardens.

On the R42 from Vereeniging to Vanderbijlpark turn left into Ascot road at the Pick n Pay Hyper. At 4 way stop turn right into Cassandra avenue. keep on straight for 1km and turn right into Orion road.
