Situated in the beautiful coastal area of Port Shepstone, Ananeo Guesthouse is tucked away among the green surroundings that characterize Kwazulu Natal. It is the natural tranquility and peaceful environment in which the guesthouse is rooted that inspired the owner, Amanda Matthee, to label the guesthouse Ananeo.
Amanda describes her visits as feeling totally rejuvenated and being renewed making the name Ananeo a perfect descriptor of the kind of experience you can expect.
Ananeo was designed with nature in mind. The sleek design and blend of natural elements emphasises its immediate surroundings, making it a must for those who appreciates our beautiful coasts.
Ananeo is blessed with its own private beach, making it a perfect destination for those seeking privacy, or alternatively for anyone who wants to escape the intensity of everyday life. Amanda expressed that due to the seclusion from immediate residences; Ananeo can justly be portrayed as a sacred space, safe place.
With your own private beach (no public access) a mere 30 meters from the house as well as your own private swimming pool, you can experience best of both worlds. The luxurious units also offer a braai area close to the beach in addition to having a Jet master braai on the wooden deck. Ananeo also offers secure car parking for all our customers.

This unit is perfect for families or friends seeking to truly unwind in style as this self-catering unit can sleep up to 6 people. The unit has two bedrooms, each containing a double sleeper. The stylish lounge, which includes a plasma TV with PVR-DSTV, offers an extractable double sleeper. To offer you full peace of mind this unit has its own security alarm installed.
Ananeo Unwind Unit 2:
This self-catering unit is perfect for those seeking a romantic getaway and sleeps 2 people only. The stylish and cozy lounge includes a plasma TV and PVR-DSTV. The trendy room overlooks the wooden deck, the calming see and private swimming pool. To offer you full peace of mind this unit has its own security alarm installed.

How to get there:
1. Take the Hibberdene offramp(coastal road to Port Shepstone) Go Through Hibberdene and after 9,5km will see sign Big Fisherman.
2. Turn left and at T-Junction(30 meters) turn right. After Aprox 40 meters turn left over railwayline and immediately right into Kingfisher rd. About 80 meters further number 33 on left.
