I can only give De Hoop and its staff a 10/10 rating. The staff and the facilities were excellent - it is not very often that one's hopes are exceeded. De Hoop did just that. Thanks very much to the wonderful staff and facilities at De Hoop.

Accommodation very good, and also daily cleaning service. Various activities in the area very good with literature. Only dissapointment was the boma dinner on the Saturday evening. Food preparation very poor at extreme prices, especially the selection of wines.

On our arrival we found the lock to our cottage not operational. The reception personnel couldn't do enough to provide us with a choice of similar, if not better accommodation until the problem had been taken care of. We had the opportunity to inspect different type of accommodation which we found to be delightfully and cosy furnished without loss of functionality. Every single person we came into contact with, inclusive restaurant staff and the trainee trail guide, was incredibly friendly, helpful and constructive. Well done to all of you, this is costumer service par excellence!
