With it's up-market wooden a-frame thatched chalets, each with it's own Jacuzzi and fireplace, whether a winter or summer visit, comfort is top of mind.

Restaurant
The interior features superb attention to detail with aged wooden furniture, a delightful bar composed of thatch, wood and stone, and wall decorated with large murals of the African landscape. In the evenings the ambience is further enhanced by authentic looking lanterns which create just enough lighting to add to the “bush” atmosphere
Conference Venue
Amadwala Lodge is perfect for hosting the small to medium sized conferences & weddings. With 4 unique venues Amadwala Lodge can cater for executive meetings to workshops to conferencing and team-building experiences.
There are 2 breakaway rooms and lunches are served on the pool deck or in the restaurant. Standard Conferencing equipment on site with facility to arrange any additional equipment.
Airport Shuttles
Please note that these shuttles are only available for the Amadwala Lodge Packages and they need to be pre booked.

If you flight times do not fall within the timeslot for the shuttle, we can arrange Meet and Greets at the Airport.
Cost is R450.00 for 3 pax / R50.00 for every additional client.
Children under 12 years pay R25.00 if accompanied by an adult. A Baby seat can be provided on requet.

The Place was beautiful! It really makes you feel like you are in the bush yet it is still really close to home. The dinner took a bit long and the waitress didn't really understand us but other than that the food was great and the owners really made us feel welcome. We will definatly go back!

Had a great stay for 4 days at Amadwala Lodge. It is a long trip from the airport but well worth it. Chris - the manager and her mother Joan were delightful. Always willing to help with anything. The room was spacious, clean and well serviced daily. Even had a spa ! It was located so it felt you were already in the bush. It had a good variety of reasonably priced tours available. I took the one to Soweto and had a very interesting and informative day with Zac. The staff were very pleasant and always tried hard to please. Thanks for a great stay!

The place is beautiful and it's in a nice area, but my problem is with the owners or management, when we got there, there were dogs all around and we told them that we not comfortable with dogs around and asked them to lock them, but they looked at us as if we are crazy and did nothing about it. So for that reason I don't think I will not go there again.

A peaceful place to stay outside of Johannesburg - great facilities and well equipped bungalows. The managers Chris and Dudley (as well as their staff) were great - very friendly and informative. Highly recommended.
