The 5 SEASONS is the ideal base to discover the breathtaking surroundings of the Western Cape - a paradise for all four seasons, and especially for the fifth - your holidays. After a wonderful day you will come back to your elegant suite, where comfort and our attentive service awaits you. From the first day, the 5 SEASONS will be your home away from home.
Our house lies very quiet in a Jacaranda tree-lined back road, only five minutes walking distance away from the town center. You can choose from seven individual suites and a charming cottage, all with blooming garden and refreshing pool.
You will reside in style, enjoy the charming décor in warm earth tones as well as the treasured accessories and you can relax in your cozy bathroom with luxurious skin products.
Rooms
Vineyard Suite:
Style and luxury is the theme of this suite. Wooden floors, closets and cabinets are handcrafted and the spacious en-suite bath invites you for wellness end relaxation. With private entrance from pool area. This suite can be booked in combination with Summer Suite for up to 4 people.
Honeymoon Suite:
First the romantic canopy bed will catch your eye. And on top our Honeymoon Suite pampers you with ample space and exquisite French-style furniture. Center of the spacious en-suite bath is the freestanding tub with porcelain feet which invites you for wellness and relaxation. Ideal for honeymooners and couples in love.
Summer Suite:
In our Summer Suite you can enjoy lots of private space and all the amenities that make your stay comfortable and relaxing. White natural linen reflects the serene summer feeling of Africa. The suite has a kitchenette, sitting area and one bedroom. Enjoy your private terrace and the green gardens, where you can watch birds or sunbathe. This suite can be booked in combination with Vineyard Suite for up to 4 people.
Spring Suite:
Caressing light, natural linen, African woods. This Suite on the first floor exudes warmth and romance. It is cozy and comfortable. Its soft colors and fine materials invite you to relax. A lounge area and kitchenette will be shared with two other suites.
Mountain View Suite:
This lovely decorated suite has a cosy bedroom with a spacious ensuite bathroom. A lounge area and the kitchenette are the center of the first floor and will be shared with two other suites. An outside staircase leads you directly to the pool area. Fantastic view of the mountains.
African Suite:
This suite on the first floor welcomes you with African flair and a wonderful view. It is decorated with ethnic accessories, like lamps made of porcupine barbs, ostrich eggs and colorful prints. We have chosen special treasures to give this room a warm and cozy feel. A lounge area and kitchenette will be shared with two other suites.
Sunrise Suite:
This suite is very spacious and comfortable. Its soft colors and fine materials invite you to relax. You have an extraordinary view from your private terrace onto the mountains, which seem to be ruby-red at sunset. Your perfect retreat under the African sun.
Garden Cottage (sleeps up to 4):
Our cottage fulfills all your wishes for luxury, silence, sun and harmonic privacy. Ideal for guests who want to stay a little longer to explore the vineyards, golf courses and beaches. The cottage is charming yet elegant. Both bedrooms and the private kitchen have French doors leading to a private terrace. Perfect for a family. Have breakfast in your own garden under a shady tree, or gaze at the stars while having a glass of wine.
Activities
Golf, horseback riding, hiking, biking, tennis, surfing, angling or diving will be just some of the unforgettable experiences to choose from. But during all the activities don't forget to relax during a pick-nick at one of the wine-growing estates. Or take a trip to HERMANUS where you can watch whales from the shore (August - November). Or take a drive along the famous Garden Route. Unique are also South Africas Nature Reserves where you can watch wildlife without fences and experience the most beautiful sunset. These memories will be your most valuable treasures.
How to get there
You take the N2 from the International Airport Cape Town to the direction Sommerset West. This Highway you drive till the turn off R310 to Stellenbosch.
Follow the R310 to the direction Stellenbosch. In Stellenbosch turn right at the first traffic light (Shell petrol station at right) into the Dorp Street. Follow Dorp Street till the end and turn left into Drosty street.
At the end of Drosty Street turn right again into van Riebeck Street ( right hand side Boland College and left a large park) go till the circle, in the circle you must turn right into van der Stel Street. Drive van der Stel Street till the end then you will find us at the right. |
