The name Lapeng which in Sotho means my home was the brainchild of Sowetan entrepreneur Simon Moloi, and has become one of the finest Hotels & Conferencing establishments, south of Johannesburg.

How to get there:
See Map From Pretoria/Johannesburg North
- Take the N1 South to Johannesburg
- The N1 South becomes the M1 to Johannesburg
- Follow the M1 South past South gate Shopping Centre towards Vereeniging
- Take the R82 to Vereeniging until you reach the 4way stop in Walkerville (Friendly Grocer will be on your left)
- Take the first left after the stop to go onto the R557 Randvaal road
- Follow the Lapeng signs to the site
From Alberton/ East Rand
- Take the R59 to Vereeniging
- Take the Randvaal road off ramp (after the blockhouse Engen One stop) and turn right at the Stop to go onto the R557Randvaal Road
- Look for the Lapeng sign and turn right onto the sight (+/11km from the off ramp)
