Game viewing can be done at the Pilanesberg Game Reserve with its variety of Lodges. The Pilanesberg also offers Elephant Back Safaris, game drives, quad biking and Balloon Safaris.

Madikwe Game Reserve also offers a variety of Lodges, boasts the Big Five, and covers a vast area of 75,000 hectares with the second largest population of elephants in South Africa.

Pilanesberg Game Reserve hosts some 10 000 head of wildlife and falls, like Madikwe, within a malaria-free area.

Some smaller private game lodges can also be found in the Brits and Rustenburg areas.
