The Presidential Suite
consists of a large bedroom with big cubbards and a beautiful view of the vineyards. It is named after the former president F.W. de Klerk, who was the previous owner of the farm. The room has its own marble bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, and it has its own office. This room requires a minimum of two people.
The Dressing Room
is a smaller but beautiful room designed in an old Victorian style. It is the former president’s old dressing room, hence the name, and it has many beautiful cubbards. One has to exit the room to use the bath room, but the room has it’s own marble bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub.
The Flower Room
is a romantic little blue room designed in an old Victorian style. It is named after Mrs. de Klerks fascination of blue and white flowers, which you can see around the farm. It is located on the first floor of the main house with exposed thatched roof. One has to exit the room to use the bathroom, but it has its own romantic little bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub.
The King Konstantin Room
is located next to the main house. This is one of the best rooms on the farm because of it’s size and the possibility to open the large windows and experience a spectacular view of the vineyards. It has it’s own terrasse. The room is named after the greek King Konstantin, who has often visited the farm.
The Thatcher Room, is also located next to the main house, right next to the king Konstantin room. One has to exit the room to use the bath room, but it has its own bathroom. The room is named after the english iron lady Margareth Thatcher, who has often visited the farm.
The African Room
is a large room located on its own next to the main house. It is designed in an original African style, and has a spectacular view of the vineyards. It has its own terasse. The room has its own bathroom and is ideal for a family with children, because of its size.
The Paarl view Room is a romantic room located next to the main house on the first floor with exposed thatched roof. This room is perfect if you travel with older children or good friends, because it is connected and shares the same bathroom with The Colonial Room.
The Colonial Room
is located next to the main house on the first floor directly connected with The Paarl view Room. It is designed in an old Colonial style. It does not have its own bathroom so the room is only used in addition to the Paarl View Room. This way the room is ideal for a larger family or friends traveling together.
The Italian Room
is a beautiful little room designed in an old Victorian style. It is named after the Italian war prisoners who built, during the second World War II, the beautiful mountain road, you can see from the window. It is located on the first floor of the main house with exposed thatched roof.
It has its own zink but no bathroom. One has to use the bathroom connected to Flower Room room. Often a family will book The Flower Room and the Italian Room together. This way one can share a bathroom and save some money on rooms.
