Whittlers Lodge is situated on the wooded mountainside overlooking the tranquil Hout Bay valley. This peaceful neighbourhood is filled with the calls of numerous wild birds.
It is situated 5 minutes by car from Hout Bay beach and village where there is an abundance of delightful restaurants and shops.
The trip to Cape Town, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and Table Mountain is approx. 20 minutes.
Hout Bay lies at the foot of the beautiful Chapman`s Peak Drive - a mere 35 minutes to the famous Cape Point Nature reserve and within easy access of the Winelands of the Cape.
Whittlers Lodge consists of five spacious self-catering apartments, all with their own bathrooms and kitchenettes. The double-roomed apartments are ideal for
two couples sharing or a couple with children who are most welcome. All the rooms have TV with M/Net and
satellite programs.
Our solarium is a lovely airy room overlooking the forested garden and sparkling pool. It serves as a communal meeting place where one can share meal times and sundowners.
There are a number of braai (bar-b-que ) spots in the large garden that is fully fenced with a security gate and plenty of on-site parking.

From Cape Town International Airport - Take N2 motorway to Cape Town- Take the M3 exit to Muizenburg - this takes you onto DeWaal Drive and past the University of Cape Town on your right hand side.
At the first and only traffic light you come to since leaving the airport - turn right towards Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the M63. Follow this road which winds through Cecilia forest until you come to Constancia Nek Restaurant on your left.
Go half way round the traffic circle and take the first road left going down the hill into Hout Bay. Exactly 4,3kms from the traffic circle turn left into Hughenden road.
At the fork turn left into Whittlers Way and travel for approx 1kms where on the right hand side you will find "Whittlers Lodge" number 36 Whittlers Way.
