Sea Star Cliff is a luxury lodge providing guest house accommodation on the rugged Atlantic Ocean coastline. Sea Star Cliff was thrilled to welcome reigning Miss South Africa 2015, Miss Liesl Laurie and Miss Earth South Africa 2014 Ilze Saunders who chose to spend the weekend with us in De Kelders, near Gansbaai.
During their 2-night stay, both beauties were treated to the relaxed, luxurious accommodation that Sea Star Cliff has to offer.
Restaurant
Situated right next door is our restaurant, the Whales and Dolphins. The warm and cosy wood-built restaurant offers a selection of delicious seafood and other dishes - a true taste of the Cape!
Its unbelievable setting and views will make you want to linger and relax over a bottle of wine long after you have finished your meal.
The restaurant comprises an intimate dining room and two small separate dining rooms to cater for private functions and conferences.
The massive wooden deck has breathtaking views over the bay and is the perfect place for an indulgent afternoon in the African sun, with the whales and dolphins and the sound of the ocean as company.
The restaurant is currently open for breakfast and dinner.

5 minutes by car from Whale Sanctuary Lodge lies Kleinbaai, the shark cage diving mecca of South Africa. Spend a morning under the water (or keep your feet firmly planted on the boat) to watch these magnificent creatures. What an amazing thrill!
