was built in 1840 and restored to its former state in 2005. The thick walls, high ceilings and beautiful restored wooden floors, ensure a cool and pleasant atmosphere.
Although this house is part of our National heritage, we have changed the inside of the house, that each room is en-suite, has its own separate outside entrance and patio, offering each guest their privacy.
The rooms are spacious and luxurious with bathrooms en suite (showers only), television, tea and coffee, fridges, fully air conditioned, luxuriously furnished with comfortable double or queen size beds. Our family unit has two inter leading rooms with three single beds and a double bed in the main bedroom.
We have safe and secure off street parking.
We are also within walking distance of all the restaurants. Our guests enjoy this early evening stroll, after a long and tiresome journey.
A plant, by the name of TRAVELLER’S JOY, (Clematis Brachiates) growing wild in our area, well known for the healing and soothing of the tired muscles, is exactly what we want every guest to experience - to have a pleasant stay and continue their journey well rested.

Thank you for a lovely over night's stay. It was peaceful and relaxing. We have already booked our night's stay for our return trip.
We had a very pleasant stay at Travelers Joy on the way to our holiday destination and was very impressed with the reception as well as the lovely comfortable and clean room we stayed in. It met all our expectations and we stayed in the same room on our way back. I have already recommended them to family and would definitely recommend Travelers Joy to friends as well.
