Rooms will only be booked upon receipt of a 50% deposit or subject conditions hereunder. Tranquil Guest House is an elegantly modernized Guest House situated in Dundee, the heart of KZN. This imposing residence offers gracious accommodation, warm hospitality and exceptional care by host Cenel and staff.

Tranquil Guest House provides centrally located accommodation for anyone with any business to do in the surrounding district such as Ladysmith, Newcastle, Vryheid, Glencoe, Hattingspruit, Dannhauser, Wasbank and Nqutu. The small town of Dundee is centrally located in the Northern KZN with the Mpati Mountain as a backdrop.

After being overlooked as a holiday destination for many years, interest in Dundee has begun to develop as more and more visitors discover the unmatched beauty of the landscapes surrounding the town and the numerous attractions and activities Dundee has to offer.

Tranquil Guest House is operated on both Guesthouse and Bed and Breakfast style. The hosts and staff, live on the premises but separate from guesthouse and guests have access to the entire house’s guest area’s. Tranquil Guesthouse is nestled in the heart of Northern KZN. This Victorian style home has been elegantly modernized into what it is today. It boasts a large garden which creates an atmosphere of tranquility.

We offer dinner, bed & breakfast. Our mouth watering traditional cooking is served generously and accompanied with gracious hospitality. English and Continental breakfast is served on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

- Breakfast is served between 07:00 AM and 09:00 AM, Mondays to Fridays, and between 08:00 AM and 10:00 AM on weekends
- Dinner is served between 6 pm and 8 pm
- Lunch / Picnic packs by prior arrangement only.
- All rooms are non-smoking. There are designated smoking areas outside the room
- All credit cards are accepted.
- Children aged 12 years and younger stay for free (additional R40.00 for breakfast).
- Check in times: In @ 2 pm and Out by 10 am
- Smoking is not allowed in any of our bedrooms, or common areas.
- Parking on premises at own risk.

Directions:

Turning off from Karel Landman Street (main road leading from Ladysmith / Newcastle) in to Union street - drive down Union Street for 1.2km, we are situated on the right hand side.
