The Syrene Hotel is set in the heart of the historical and stylish Rivonia. We are central to Johannesburg’s most prominent business districts and cultural attractions.
The Syrene’s locality provides easy access to O.R. Tambo International airport (via the GauBus 10m from our doorstep to the Gautrain at the Sandton Station) and we are only a short distance away from Johannesburg’s major Business centers; Sandton, Sunninghill, Woodmead, Fourways, Bryanston and Johannesburg Central.
From Sandton:
Follow Rivonia Road (M9) in a northerly direction towards Sunninghill. In Rivonia continue past 9th Avenue at McDonald’s and then turn right at the traffic light at 10th Avenue. Cross Rivonia Boulevard and then turn left into Wessel Road. The Syrene will be on your right between 10th and 11th Avenues.
From O.R TAMBO International:
Take the R24 towards Johannesburg. After approximately 9km, take the off-ramp and follow the N3 North, towards Pretoria for approximately 13km to join the N1 South, heading towards Roodepoort. Take the first off-ramp off the N1 to Rivonia Road (M9 South) and proceed in a southerly direction towards Sandton City.
At the third traffic light turn left into 10th Avenue. Cross Rivonia Boulevard and then turn left into Wessel Road.
The Syrene will be on your right between 10th and 11th Avenues.
