The Prince Albert Garden Guest House is ideal if you are looking for relaxed and comfortable accommodation in
the delightful Central Karoo town of Prince Albert.
Guests are welcomed into a tranquil garden courtyard oasis, and can look forward to a hearty breakfast served
in the original farmhouse, which dates back to the late 1800`s. All rooms en suite and air-conditioned.
Our pool is available for guests to cool down after a day spent exploring the region. Above the Large Suite we have a sun/moon deck, where you can enjoy the views of the Karoo and Swartberg, and marvel at the Karoo night sky.
We take pride in our garden which offers an extraordinary array of plants suited to the micro-climate of Prince Albert, which although in the Karoo, is nourished by the water from the Swartberg range.
Graced by an age old pepper tree, the garden is a relaxed English style country garden, with a deceptive amount
of indigenous flora.
The historic town of Prince Albert is an ideal destination to experience the beauty of the Karoo.
Its origins date back to the farm of Kweekvallei, and boasts a wide selection of Cape architecture.
We offer a Twin, a Double, and a Large Suite which has a luxury king size bed.
Both the Twin and Double have showers ensuite, their own parking space and private access.
The Large Suite has an en-suite seperate shower and bath, and its own private stoep (porch), and garden.
The rooms are tastefully furnished and we provide tea, coffee, and a refrigerator. Our linen is white cotton percale, with cotton blankets for summer and feather duvets for winter.
All rooms have warm and cool air-conditioning, and we also provide ceiling fans and pot bellied wood burners.
The Large Suite is open plan and offers relaxed and spacious comfort.
We host many special interest groups, and can offer advice on local attractions and tours. We also can recommend local eateries. Cyclists, hikers, bikers and all nature lovers are welcome. Health & Climate:
Prince Albert has a very dry climate, but its lifeline is the water from the Swartberg. Our rooms are air conditioned to make the hottest, (Dec to Feb) more pleasant, and the coldest especially more cosy and inviting.
