We were very well received by your lady at the reception and enjoyed our weekend at The Clarens Country House. We especially enjoyed the tranquil surrounds and quiet nights.
We spend 3 nights at The Clarens Country House at the beginning of November staying in the Shepherd's Loft. The accommodation was wonderful, very comfortable and beautifully appointed with a very generous tea and coffee box, a jug of fresh milk in the fridge, a welcoming packet of rusks, biscuits and chocolates, toiletries in the bathroom, and a decanter of sherry on the coffee table in front of the fireplace. The setting in the secure Golf and Trout Estate is peaceful and countrified, yet only a few minutes drive from the village centre. I would highly recommend The Clarens Country House.
The little extra's (in the kitchen and bathroom i.e extra coffee and soap) made it for me. Oh and the coal stoves on the stoep. I wish I could stay there permanently. As they say " home from home" It is the the best. Thanks
