FORMAL OLIVE TASTING - The tasting is a selection of all the Surval products as well as a bit of background information about olives and the different cultivars. The formal olive tasting is ideal for families or small groups. Include a complimentary olive product for each participant. Bookings required. 45 minutes.
ORCHARD TOUR AND OLIVE TASTING - A tour guide will do a formal presentation of our operational olive farm followed by a formal olive tasting. Ideal for a group activity. Included a complimentary olive oil for each participant. Bookings essential 60 minutes.
Surval Boutique Olive Estate boasts a wealth of bird life, with bio-diversity on the estate moving from waters-edge to agricultural tracks of land, an ecology that will appeal to novice bird viewer to experienced ornithologists. Such seasonal visitors as the Red bishop and the nocturnally active Spotted Eagle Owl. The estate is safe to explore on foot making it a wonderful family activity.
Situated close Su Casa Restaurant you will find the tranquil waters of the Willow Dam, kayaks and a row boat are available for the enjoyment of guests out for a short paddle or a romantic bottle of bubbly on the pond with someone special.
Swimming Pool Relax in our sparkling clear swimming pool after a day of sightseeing and adventure in and around Oudtshoorn. The view is an ever changing canvas of mountain and valley scenery. There is also a lapa with barbeque facilities available for your enjoyment.

Walking Trail We have a number of walking trails on the premises, suitable for everyone, from the fittest, to the not-so-fit, to families with small children. Remember to bring comfortable walking shoes with sturdy soles and heel support.
Far from the glare of the city lights, you can see and enjoy the Milky Way in its full splendour. Bring your telescope, or just lie on your back on the outside lawn and wonder about the vastness of the universe, and what is out there. Note: the Little Karoo is considered to be one of the best places on earth for star gazing. This is the reason that the region was selected as one of two 'finalists' for the world's most powerful radio telescope, the SKA ("Square Kilometre Array") Telescope.
