The camp lies on the banks of the Sirheni Dam about 54 km from Punda Maria Restcamp on the Shingwedzi Road (H17), within the Mopane veld of the region and only a few km west of the Babalala picnic spot.

The Sirheni Dam, on the Mphongo River, lies next to the camp. A hide on the perimeter fence overlooks the dam, and a wide variety of game and birds are attracted to it. Lion and hyaena are regulars, as there are often kills at the dam.

There is a 10km stretch of private road restricted to the residents of Sirheni Bush Camp.

Solar panels provide electricity for lights and fans only. Refrigerators do not have freezing compartments, but a communal freezer is available. Barbecue facilities and open parking is available. The nearest shop is at the Shingwedzi Restcamp.

Units are serviced and bedding, towels and soap are provided. Night drives and day excursions are on offer.

The staff were helpful and the setting was absolutely brilliant - we will be back. The units could use upgrading but there was nothing that didn't work.
