Deep in the valley of the Magalies Meander lies Pine & Balo Guest House; set in the tranquil country side of Hekpoort, just outside of Hartbeespoort Dam.

With our tastefully decorated Bed & Breakfast rooms as well as our Self-Catering Cottages, Pine & Balo Guest House is truly a home away from home.

Our Bed & Breakfast rooms are tastefully furnished with King size beds (or twin beds), Tv with DSTV, Tea/Coffee station, mini bar, an on-suite bathroom with a luxurious bath and shower, as well as under floor heating for those chilly winter evenings.

Self Catering Units (sleeps 4):
Our two modern Self Catering Units are perfect for family getaways. These cottages are fully furnished with a King size bed in a very large bedroom, Tv with DSTV, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, Bathroom with Bath or Shower, under floor heating as well as a private Braai area.

We had a lot of issues with the flies and spiders that were all over the place, which for me was a bit of a hygiene issue . I don't know if there is anything they can do about that... But overall, the place was very beautiful!!

The place was lovely, we enjoyed ourselves, people were very nice even their breakfast was nice, we had great time, we will return again. I will recommend it to everyone to visit this place and thanks for booking the activies for us we didnt know how & where to go for activies, you helped us a lot.

We found the cottage very cosy. A place for a couple to go and do nothing. Not an ideal holiday place for children. Besides the swimming pool nothing else for them to do.

The cottage is still new and it was refreshing to see the amount of effort that was put into it to welcome us as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary! The only 'thing' missing was a mirror in the bedroom other than that we had an excellent and wonderful time. Loved the under floor heating. We will definitely consider doing this again next year. Thank you!
