Go!Kruger under previous ownership was called Panzi Bush Camp, which is pronounced paan-zee and means ‘down below’ or ‘on the ground’ in Shangaan.

This name was chosen because the camp nestles comfortably in a beautiful wooded gully which is surrounded by magical indigenous trees and bush.

Accommodation at Panzi Bush Camp:
The enchanting 20 bed camp is hidden in a wooded gully with chalets that are imbued with an intimate spirit of African adventure and wildlife. Wooden pathways meander their way through the indigenous bush outwards from the main boma of the camp to reveal individual thatched units tucked into the greenery of the private nature reserve.

Each chalet functions as a bedroom and bathroom which bears the style of bush meets sophistication with the use of indigenous African bush materials and an outdoor shower for a nature experience with a difference. Especially designed to provide the guest with a real bush experience and remove them from the busy city life and place them back to the simple pleasures of the wild with the modern essentials needed for a heart-warming and gratifying stay.

The 10 thatched A-frame cottages hidden in the indigenous bush have a high ceiling and wooden floors with two ¾ sized beds surrounded by mosquito nets. Each cottage has an en-suite bathroom with an outdoor shower with running hot water. In addition, all guestrooms feature a variety of comforts such as non-smoking rooms, seating area and a private deck/balcony to please even the most discerning guest. Linen and towels are provided as well as fire extinguishers provided for extra safety.

The food was to die for. Just one thing , the chalets could be furnished a bit better, and the bathroom can be closed, and a braai facility maybe. But it was very nice to hear the animals in the night, the people are very friendly as well especially Beth.
