Your hosts, Dawid & Christelle Kriel, share their passion for food, wine and people, with all visiting their home and make you feel welcome with real Cape hospitality!

They are in the restaurant industry for more than 10 years, being the proud owners of the well known Volkskombuis and De Oewer restaurants. Both these restaurants are situated just around the corner within walking distance from Oak Village.

The restaurants offer a fine selection of lunch and dinner options for guests to enjoy.

All rooms are named after well known South African wine varietals, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Pinotage, Shiraz and others.

Children are welcome. A baby's cot is available on request.

Two bedroom apartment, with double & two twin beds. Open kitchen, lounge with balcony for mountain view. Shower-in-bath. TV with few DStv channels.

Honeymoon Suite:
Seperate bath and shower - door opening to garden. Aircon, tv, tea/coffee making facilities. Spacious and comfortable.

Shiraz - shower in bath, spacious with chairs to relax next to garden.

Chenin Blanc - shower only with door opening to garden, spacious.

My room was not really conducive for a person staying for a short course as breakfast started a bit late. Maybe booking distinction could separate those on holiday and business to know which rooms to allocate to business travellers that use laptops in the rooms.
