The name Nukakamma is the name given to the Sunday River by the indigenous Xhosa people literally meaning Grassy water
. The name refers to the banks of the river that are always green, despite the arid terrain it runs through.

Breakfast is served for all our guests staying in our Guest House while our self-catering facilities are equipped with all the household amenities necessary to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Tinnie is an accomplished cook in the kitchen and offers traditional South African dinners to both our Guest House and self-catering apartment guests on request. Please enquire directly with him regarding our daily menus and any special requests.

We offer 3 tastefully decorated Bed & Breakfast rooms. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with shower with complimentary tea & coffee. Guests have the option of requesting either two single beds, or one king size bed. Our luxury room Inyathi, also has a private lounge with a television and DSTV, as well as a private viewing deck with stunning views of the Colchester, and Addo National Elephant Park.
We also have a 2 bedroom self-catering cottage with a fully equipped kitchen with laundry facilities, as well as a dining and living room. This cottage also has a patio with a private braai/BBQ.
