Leopard Tree Lodge - Leopard Tree Lodge, a 4 Star self-catering lodge, is the sister lodge of Leopard Corner Lodge (bed & breakfast lodge). Our lodge has the perfect location in our beautiful St Lucia and is situated on the edge of the forest surrounding St Lucia. This establishment was previously known as Lalapanzi Guest House.
Our lodge is named after the biggest Leopard Tree to be found in St Lucia, which is situated at the entrance of the lodge.No power failure and water supply issues will be experienced at our Lodge as we are equipped with a 54 KVA diesel generator and a borehole.*All our apartments have outside undercover seating patio/balcony/deck areas.*Maximum occupancy is 50 persons in 10 luxury apartments.Secure parking and boat washing facilities for ski-boats are available but limited to 4 ski-boats per day.There are many different tours and activities that can be enjoyed in and around St Lucia. All of these, including game drives to 3 game reserves surrounding or close to St Lucia (Eastern Shores, Western Shores and Hluhluwe game reserves), whale watching tours, turtle breeding tours, snorkeling tours at Cape Vidal, boat cruises on the Estuary, deep sea fishing excursions etc. can be arranged and booked from Leopard Tree Lodge’s reception

Equipped with a Double bed & a sleeper coach. En-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Undercover wooden deck balcony. (Recommended occupancy is 2, but can sleep up to 4 persons if 2 kids below the ages of 12 share the sleeper coach).

This unit is situated on the ground floor level, sleeps up to 4 persons (maximum 4 adults) and is equipped with a queen size bed and two single beds in the main bedroom and a sleeper couch in the lounge area. Shower only. Fully equipped Kitchen. Undercover patio with a private entrance.
Wagtail - Undercover seating area with a view of the garden and the entrance to the lodge. This unit is situated on the ground floor level, sleeps up to 4 persons (maximum 4 adults) and is equipped with a queen size bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in the 2nd bedroom and a sleeper couch in the lounge area. Shower only. Fully equipped Kitchen. Undercover patio with a private entrance.
Weaver - undercover seating area with a view of the garden and the entrance to the lodge. This unit is situated on the ground floor level and is equipped with King Size Bed that can easily be converted into a twin beds upon request. A sleeper couch is further located in the lounge area. This unit is equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Fully equipped Kitchen. Undercover patio with a private entrance.
From Johannesburg:
Take the N2 road to Witbank. Turn off to Ogies, pass through Bethal, Ermelo, Piet Retief, Pongola. Continue south along the N2 past Mkuze
and Hluhluwe, Take the turn-off left to Mtubatuba and St Lucia (R618).
Follow this road until the first turn left (R618) to St Lucia (approximately 27km).
From Durban:
Take the N2 north you have the option of the toll road or the alternate route via Stanger.
40 kilometers after the turn-off to Richards bay, Take the turn-off right to Mtubatuba and St Lucia (R618). As you arrive in Mtubatuba, turn left at the stop street, then second right (R618) to St Lucia (approximately 27km).
When you arrive in the greater St. Lucia Wetland Park:
Pass over the bridge. Follow the road till you reach the traffic circle.
Turn left in McKenzie Street (this is the main street of St Lucia) then right into Beach road. Follow this road till you reach the second turn off right, into Kingfisher road. The first left is Garrick Road.
This road leads into Sandpiper Street. We are at number 7.
