Accommodation at Jozini Tiger Lodge and Spa:
Jozini Tiger Lodge offers 70 guest rooms, including a 3 Deluxe Suites, 21 Family Lofts and 44 Classic rooms. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with both a shower and bath, tea and coffee making facilities, satellite television, work desk, telephone, air conditioning, hair dryer, safes and bar fridges.

There are furnished balconies overlooking Lake Jozini which offer a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Each guest room has been tastefully decorated to give a residential feel with a touch of Africa.

DELUXE SUITE
Our spacious Deluxe Suites offer loads of comfort and privacy. They feature a large bedroom with an four poster king size bed and specialized linen, all leading out to a private balcony overlooking the dam wall. The luxurious bathroom amenities bode well with the large jet bath with a shower that offers a wonderful view every morning.

FAMILY LOFT
The Family Lofts are ideal for those needing more family space and comfort. These are generously sized rooms with a dedicated Loft area. The bed configuration consists of a double/twin downstairs with two singles in the Loft. Ideal for a family of four. The en-suite bathroom has both a separate bath and shower. Located on the top floor with private balconies overlooking Lake Jozini.

STANDARD CLASSIC
The Classic Rooms are spaciously designed with an en-suite bathroom with both a bath and shower. Tastefully decorated, these rooms can be made up to accomodate either twin or queen size beds. Sliding doors open to a private balcony overlooking Lake Jozini.

LOCATION:
We are located in a prime position in the heart of Zululand, surrounded by World Heritage sites as well as some of the countrys most acclaimed nature reserves. Three Cities Jozini Tiger Lodge is accessible from Johannesburg, Durban and the KwaZulu Natal Midlands by road. There is also a road to the Kruger Park via Swaziland. Some of the exciting locations available include The iSimangaliso Wetland Park (a UNESCO declared word heritage site), The Maputaland Marine Reserve (located along the beautiful Maputaland South Coast) and many of the top game reserves in South Africa.

ACTIVITIES:
Fishing
The tiger fishing tournament held annually in September/October draws anglers from around the world. This is South Africas own Kariba.

Lake Jozini in the Pongola Game Reserve is the most Southern lake where tiger fish are endemic. Although widespread and still common in certain areas like the Pongola river, tiger fish are declining in most rivers due to pollution, water extraction and obstructions like weirs and dams that prevent their passage up or downstream to suitable spawning sites along flooded river banks and lake shores. The tiger fish is one of the most exciting fresh water game fish catching them will have your adrenalin flowing. Recognised by the bluish sheen on its back, a series of parallel longitudinal black stripes, intensive yellow to blood red fins with trailing black edges and a series of 8 large, protruding, sharply pointed teeth. From the novice fisherman to the expert anglers fishing with a fly, Lake Jozini offers you the ideal location for tiger fishing of a lifetime.

Game Viewing
Jozini Tiger Lodge and Spa is an hours drive from Sodwana Bay, Umfolozi, Mhuze and Ndumo Game Reserves. Pongolapoort Reserve on the eastern shore is home to 4 of the Big 5, 350 species of bird life, crocodiles and hippos.

Other Activities
Jozini Tiger Lodge and Spa is surrounded by a wealth of attractions which include some of KwaZulu Natals most pristine game reserves and parks. Some of the worlds best coral reefs are also nearby in the Maputaland marine reserve. At Three Cities Jozini Tiger Lodge there is also every opportunity to relax in the lap of luxury.
