GeM Bateleur Private Lodge is a 4-star, 10 bed private lodge with air conditioners throughout the facilities. The lodge is well equipped with almost anything one might need, including DSTV. A patio leads out to a small swimming pool and the braai area.
Have your braai fire made and your meat braaied on request and enjoy long nights under the starry skies. The lodge is very suitable for groups of friends, family or colleagues to have a great time enjoying and bonding.
As this is a private lodge you will have the lodge to yourself, with daily service. Breakfast is extra on request.
This is a birding paradise and game viewing on your own. Almost 400 bird species are found in the area. If you are interested in birding we can arrange with a local birding guide to go out with you on a trip on the estate or to other areas - an unforgettable and educational experience for children.
Rooms are furnished in harmony with the bush surroundings and in luxurious crispy white linen. Beds are prepared in your choice of two single beds or a king size bed and the linen are turned down for you as soon as the sun has set.
Air conditioners ensures a comfortable room temperature at all times.
Two rooms on either side of two bathrooms makes this an ideal setup for a family although still private for two couples.
As this is a private lodge no outside people will be accommodated at the same time.
A lovely loft accessed from the outside, furnished with two single beds, mosquito nets, air conditioner and vanity with hot and cold water, accommodates two people. An open air bush shower creates some excitement.
